The cottage is so well-equipped there is nothing you need... read more take with you. The standard of cleanliness is excellent and the beds are comfy! We were a party of four adults and didn't feel cramped, although the living room and kitchen are cosy.
The enclosed rear garden is doggy heaven and totally safe.
It's an easy drive to the coast, and the gorgeous villages are well worth a visit. The town of Kirkbymoorside itself has lots of independent shops and the George and Dragon pub does lovely meals.
Safety rules during the pandemic were followed wherever we went.

  For a holiday rental it was equipped as well as any private home. The cottage was charming, immaculately clean and so convenient for all the amenities in town.
We really... read more appreciated the efficient central heating on the cold nights.
The bed was so comfortable, and the street so quiet we slept ver well.
We made full use of the bakery almost next door, and the George and Dragon which was also so close to walk to.

The cottage is well catered for and beautifully presented. The small rear yard, while not used much because of the rain(!) is also enclosed and secure.

The cottage is located in the heart of Kirkbymoorside which is served with a range of small shops. Co-op and Spar supermarkets are a couple of minutes walk away.

We had day trips out onto the North York Moors as well as to Flamingo Land, Helmsley, Pickering and Fountains Abbey.

Tina was great with communication and always willing to help.

We loved our time here and will definitely consider another visit to this beautiful part of the country.
